Well these are some pointers that may help you've got a better chance at getting great footage of your pet. My pussy has learned to shut his eyes just before the flash goes off. If your electronic camera has a choice to turn the flash off and it is light enough outside to read a book then use the available light and turn the flash off. ( Even better if your camera has a fill flash use that inside where there's not enough sunlight, and place the person by a window too. Daylight filtered thru a trees' leave is beautiful and warm.
